Gavin Berubé of the Ignace Falcons competed in Nordic Skiing for the first time this year, he competed against the regions seniors and took home a dominating victory at the Dryden Ski meet. He also competed at the NWOSSAA qualifiers in Kenora at the junior level and took home first place. He then traveled to Lakefield to compete at OFSAA where he took home first in the High School Junior Boys division and his time placed him in 9th among all Junior Level Competitors.
